Vegan Condensed Milk: A Dairy Free alternative you need in your life
Vegan condensed milk is made from Coconut milk cooked down to its sweetest, richest form. Whether your Vegan, lactose intolerant, or just need to take a break from dairy consumption, this dairy free version is a great substitute and can be used in tea, coffee, cooking & baking.

How to make Dairy free condensed milk
Its super easy to make this dairy free condensed milk. All you need is 2 ingredients:
- 1 can of coconut milk
- Sugar
How to make dairy free condensed milk:
- Place the coconut milk and sugar in a small pot on medium heat. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes, checking and stirring.
- After 3 minutes (maybe longer), turn the heat down and allow the mix to thicken. Check the pot periodically stirring to keep smooth.
- Once the milk has thickened, remove from the heat and allow it to cool.
How to store Dairy free condensed milk

Store in an airtight jar or container. I used a good ole Mason jar. It should store well for up to 1 month, however I personally used mine up in 2 weeks.

Place on medium heat and bring to a boil for 5 minutes checking and stirring until the coconut milk thickens. Cooking can take anywhere from 10 - 12 minutes.
This recipe yields 1/4 - 1/2 Cup of condensed milk.
Use this in Tea, coffee or for desserts and baked goods as a dairy substitute.
If you need a healthier version, switch out the white sugar for coconut or palm sugar (if accessible).
