I love your page. Just a heads up. In the steps process you don’t state where to add the garlic cloves and where they are minced or whole. Also when is the browning added?
Hi! Thanks so much for pointing this out! Whole Garlic cooks with the peas to help flavor the water. Once the peas have cooked I add the browning before the rice. Ive updated the steps so again THANKS SO MUCH!
Hi, thanks so much for the wonderful Bermuda recipes! I was curious if the black eyed peas are dry or canned. I’m assuming dry but want to be certain. Thanks again!
Hiya! thanks for checking out my blog! the peas are dry for this recipe, but you can also use canned and cut the cooking time in half!
