A Quick and Easy Dinner with Crispy Baked Pork Chops & Cinnamon Apple Sauce
These Crispy Baked Pork chops are just the thing you need to satisfy that fried feeling without the extra fat. They are rolled in breadcrumbs and baked for a healthier less greasy dinner option and paired with a semi sweet Cinnamon Apple Sauce.

I remember growing up this was my mama’s favorite thing to make for dinner. It was super quick to make and she can do other things around the house while they were in the oven.
It always takes me back to the delightful rich flavor in meat and fat when you cut through the crispy coating then dip it into the smooth sweet applesauce. My mouth is watering now!
Crispy Pork chops make a great main dish because you can pair them with just about anything. We had them with Garlic Buttered mash potatoes and steamed broccoli.
Here is a few Awesome sides that would go well with this:
Making Crispy Baked Pork Chops
This is a super easy and healthy method doesn’t require a whole lot of work because they are baked.
- Clean the Pork chops with vinegar water or lemon water then pat dry.
- Give the meat a few pokes with a knife and apply seasonings throughout.
- Prepare the wet and dry bowls for coating.
- One by one, submerge the chops into the wet bath followed by the breadcrumbs then rest on baking tray
- Bake at 375F/175C for 15 -25 minutes or until golden and meat runs clean.
Making the Cinnamon Apple Sauce
Apples and pork naturally go hand in hand. Probably because sweet and salty pairings are a match made in heaven.
- Peel and core apples cutting them into cubes.
- Place them into a small pot with a few tablespoons of water and allow to steam on a medium to low setting.
- Once the apples have softened, place into a blender along with the cinnamon and brown sugar and blend smooth.
Gadget Recommendation
I personally swear by my Magic Bullet Blender. From the time I had my daughter it has been a life savor for space and time.
Its super tough and it gets used for everything from baby food to coffee. Applesauce and purees are one of the most blended things in our household along with sauces and having this nifty gadget is well worth my coin!
If you don’t have one I suggest you get on board! And if you do already have one please utilize it. It has so many benefits with assisting in the kitchen.

Tips on Making Crispy Baked Pork chops
- Always wash the meat to remove any bacteria or possible contamination during packaging.
- To ensure the seasonings penetrate the meat, take any knife and pierce a few holes throughout the chop.
- I personally like using evaporated milk as a wet bath instead of eggs. The cream is already thick and smooth and holds the breadcrumbs well. Also to mention is delicious.
- Try not to dry the Pork Chops out. Depending on how thick your Chops are is how long you want to bake them for. Mine took around 20 minutes.
- When making the applesauce the sugar is optional. Most apples are already sweet so this is to your taste.
How to Store Any Left Overs
These will keep well in the fridge as long as they are stored in an airtight container for 3 – 4 days. If you want to keep that crisp coating I suggest placing them in the oven to warm on a medium setting so they do not dry out.
